Tying the Knot Giclee Print

My husband and I are approaching our 40^th wedding anniversary and I can’t help but feel nostalgic thinking about all the years we’ve lived through together.  This painting represents our “tying the knot” which, at first, seemed like a simple promise – the knot symbolizing our commitment. But over the years, I’ve come to realize that this knot isn’t just something tied in love—it’s tied in patience, understanding, and forgiveness. It’s not a perfect knot; at times it has been messy, untangled, and sometimes even pulled tight from the pressures of life.  Throughout all of this, I am certain of one thing-I wouldn’t want to have “tied the knot” with anyone else.
