After taking a trip to Nantucket with my sister, I was inspired to paint this diptych. Side by side, these two paintings are connected by place and memory—much like my sister and me. Nantucket is the thread that runs through both panels, a shared history shaped by salt air, familiar paths, and moments we carry differently. We come from the same place yet see it through our own lenses. Neither panel stands alone quite the same way it does when paired with the other. It’s in the space between them that the full story lives: similar, connected, and beautifully different.
