Siesta Beach is one of my favorite places to take a long walk. I love to head south all the way to Point of Rocks. One day, I turned around to head back, and the clouds were so majestic and the lighting on the sand was like a kaleidoscope. I based this painting on the colors I saw and tried to create the simplicity and quietness that this walk provides for me.
