This floral painting is one of my most popular pieces. Several Floridian people have bought prints because the painting “reminds them of home”. Originally, I had another building in the composition but I painted over it to create the greenery and bright blue water in the background. I wanted the viewer to feel that they were walking towards the water, stopping to admire the hydrangeas along the way. The original oil was 30” x 40”.
