I titled this painting “The Golden Years” and painted it much like how I feel about this time of life. I wanted it to be more spontaneous and less polished. Like life itself, this beach isn’t perfectly arranged, and the details aren’t all in sharp focus. The Golden Years celebrates the season of life when perfection gives way to perspective, where there’s more time to wander, laugh, collect shells, or simply sit in the sun without rushing anywhere.
