It’s so pleasant to walk into a room and see a large bouquet of flowers. I am drawn to unusual containers and loved the rustic bucket contrasting with the bright colored daffodils and tulips. I painted this piece shortly after my 3 kids all left home and I hadn’t touched a canvas for a while. The boldness of the colors and the bright happy mood to this painting reflect how I felt holding a brush again!
