Dogs don’t just wait—they stay. No matter how long it takes, how far they must wander, they always return to their people. This is a tribute to all the faithful dogs that I’ve had in my life. I decided to paint the dog as a “generic” breed because I didn’t want to pick one of my dogs over the other. They were all so loyal and trustworthy. It is true that there is no better friend than a dog.
